Armenian govt. to cut Metsamor Energo Atom’s authorized capital

Armenian government adopted a decision October 18 to reduce the authorized capital of Metsamor Energo Atom CJSC.

As Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan noted, the company’s assets dropped to AMD 32 mln. over non-fulfillment of economic activities.

Under the RA law “on joint-stock companies”, the government resolved to reduce the company’s authorized capital that previously totaled AMD 60 mln.

Metsamor Energo Atom CJSC was established in 2010 as a customer of the construction of Armenia’s new nuclear power unit.
