Microsoft releases live action launch trailer for Halo 4

Microsoft has released the live action launch trailer for Halo 4 on the company's YouTube page for its Xbox brand, Neowin reports.

The trailer was directed by Tim Miller, who did special effects on "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" and will direct the upcoming "Deadpool" movie, and produced by David Fincher, director of "Fight Club" and "The Social Network," among many other films. During the trailer, flashbacks to John-117's days in the SPARTAN-II program are mixed with action inspired by the upcoming game, which will be released in most territories on Nov 6.

Last week, Halo 4 leaked on the Internet well in advance of its release. In response to the leak, Microsoft has proceeded to permanently ban gamers who attempt to play Halo 4 online from the company's Xbox Live service.
