Juan Martin Del Potro may miss Davis Cup vs. Germany

According to the Argentinean magazine Clarin, Juan Martin Del Potro would have expressed his willingness not to play the match between the national team of his country and Germany valid as first turn of the Davis Cup main draw planned the first week-end of February (1-3) 2013.

Argentinean Federation and Martin Jaite have denied for the moment that del Potro communicated them such a decision, but the news seems to be well- grounded.

Del Potro has already skipped Davis Cup first turns in 2009, 2010 and 2012, that's because the South-American top player prefers focusing on hard-court and so he doesn't intend to pass, even if temporarily to clay ( the match will be played on clay in Argentina), but instead to continue to train after Australian Open on hard court in veiw of the two America Master Series (Indian Wells and Miami), tennisworldusa.org reported.
