“Silent Hill: Revelations 3D” new clip released

Christophe Gans' 2006 adaptation of game studio Konami's Silent Hill was a rare thing: a video-game-to-feature-film crossover that actually worked. Naturally, hopes for its sequel, Silent Hill: Revelations 3D, centre around it pulling off the same trick, Empire reported.

Directed by Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane, Deathwatch), it brings back old hands from the first film (Deborah Kara Unger, Sean Bean) as well as introducing newcomers such as the lead, Adelaide Clemens, who plays Heather Mason, the protagonist from Silent Hill 3 who is used by the baddie of the piece, Claudia Wolf (Carrie-Anne Moss), in an attempt to bring about the rebirth of "God".
