The nuclear program may be considered a good ground for the West to act against Iran, expert in Iranian studies said.
“Iran is viewed as a country rivaling Turkey in the region. Moreover, it plays a certain role in curbing Turkey’s claims. By weakening Iran, the West adds oil to the fire,” Mher Baghdasaryan said, deeming a war against Iran hardly possible.
However, he didn’t rule out the possibility of a war, noting Iran’s advancing positions as the main problem.
