Artsakh Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan noted that the candidate for the new chief of the defense army staff had been determined.

“The new candidate has already passed all the exams and interviews,” said, adding that his name will be announced after the country’s president issues a relevant statement.

The former chief of the army staff, major-general Levon Mnatsakanyan has been appointed as deputy head of Armenian armed forces staff.
