Paper says Masonic meeting held in Yerevan

Media outlets reported earlier that a Masonic meeting was scheduled in October, with the oncoming Armenian presidential elections expected on agenda.

According to Hraparak daily Ruben Gevorgyan, who declared himself a freemason, refuted the reports, saying no meeting is planned for the upcoming 6-7 months.

However, as the paper’s sources reported, Armenia Marriott Yerevan Hotel hosted the meeting for 10 days ago, with freemasons from different countries attending.

With Armenia planned to host another meeting in the nearest future, the event is said to bring together more prominent freemasons including Grand Master of Grand Orient De France Guy Arsizen, the paper says.
