A new TV spot for The Hobbit has been released, Digital Spy said.

The latest footage highlights the 13 dwarves who are on a quest to recover their homeland, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage).

This follows the release of the first official TV spot last week.

The running time for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was recently estimated at around 2 hours and 40 minutes by Peter Jackson.

An extended edition of the film will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in late 2013, just prior to the theatrical release of the second film The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Martin Freeman stars as Bilbo Baggins, while Ian McKellen, Elijah Wood, Hugo Weaving and Cate Blanchett are among the cast members who will reprise their roles from Lord of the Rings at some stage in The Hobbit trilogy.
