Parliament speaker: a day will come for Artsakh’s de jure recognition

Parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, currently on a visit to Czechia, met with the country’s Armenian community representatives.At the meeting, the speaker briefed those present on Karabakh conflict settlement and Armenian-Turkish relations, expressing certainty that a day will come for Karabakh independence to be recognized de jure.

The speaker further stressed the Armenian authorities’ adherence to peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict, in contrast to Azerbaijan’s incessant military rhetoric.

“We are confident that Artsakh issue will be resolved in Armenia’s favor. The Republic of Armenia has firmly declared that Nagorno Karabakh has never been and will never become a part of Azerbaijan,” the speaker stressed.
