Armenian Judo Federation received an official letter from European Judo Union (EJU) and International Judo Federation (JF) on confirmation of the new age groups.

U 18 will be set as junior age in 2013, with U 21 to be se as youth age. Thus, participants born in 1996-98 will compete at 2013 junior championships, with athletes born in 1993-95 to participate in youth championships.
