Dominic Cooper is reportedly in line to play Ian Fleming in an upcoming biopic, Digital Spy said.

Moon director Duncan Jones is set to helm a drama based on the life of the James Bond author.

The project was first announced back in May, but is now said to be getting fast-tracked following the success of latest Bond movie Skyfall.

Cooper has now been tipped for the lead role in the film, according to The Sun.

A source said: "Skyfall has got punters really excited about Bond, even more than usual, so it just makes sense to bring forward the production of this biopic."

The movie will focus on how Fleming's real-life experiences of travelling the world and planning top-secret operations inspired his novels.
