Les Misérables has debuted its second full-length trailer, Digital Spy said.

The latest promo, which clocks in at 2 minutes and 37 seconds, offers up a fresh look at The King's Speech director Tom Hooper's adaptation of Victor Hugo's classic 19th century story.

Hugh Jackman leads the cast of the musical as Jean Valjean, an ex-con who's doggedly pursued by Russell Crowe's police officer Javert.

Anne Hathaway co-stars as prostitute Fantine, while Eddie Redmayne, Amanda Seyfried, Aaron Tveit, Samantha Barks, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen round out the supporting cast.

Les Misérables will be released on December 25 in the US and January 11, 2013 in the UK.
