Armenia’s Hayk Hakobyan (+ 105 kg) lifted 185 kg in the snatch and 217 kg in the clean and jerk to come 2nd at the 3rd World University Weightlifting Championship with a total of 402 kg result.

Meanwhile, Andranik Hovhannisyan came 4th with a total of 355 kg result.

Earlier, Smbat Margaryan (56 kg) and Vanik Avetisyan (69 kg) won bronze, with Samvel Grigoryan (77 kg) and Aghasi Aghasyan (85 kg) grabbing silver.
