Yerevan is hosting Eurasian Inter-Party Consultations, with representatives of Yedinaya Rossiya (United Russia), Ukraine’s Party of the Regions, Kazakhstan’s Nur Otan People's Democratic Party, Republican Party of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia participating.

Members of Free Motherland, Democratic Party of Artsakh as well as Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian ambassadors were invited as observers.

The consultations aim at development of a new platform for strengthening of ties between CIS parties, exchange of experience, discussion of democratic issues, creating of possibilities for further cooperation between political forces of the Commonwealth.

In his statement, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan emphasized the necessity of deepening integration within the CIS, with the involvement of parties to further stimulate implementation of projects planned.

Next inter-party consultations will be held on December 3 in Russia’s St. Petersburg.
