First half of Armenia vs Lithuania friendly match ended in Yerevan’s Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium.

Armenia captain Sargis Hovsepyan, replaced by Artak Yedigaryan on 4 minute, played his final match, with the stadium chanting the legendary defender’s name with standing ovation.

Armenia’s Edgar Manucharyan opened the score with a goal. However, he later received a minor injury to be replaced by David Manoyan.

Armenia goalkeeper Roman Berezovsky also demonstrated brilliant football, staving off the contender’s advancement.
