Armenian national football team coach Vardan Minasyan said victory against Lithuania secured a successful end of year.

“Kamo Hovhannisyan demonstrated brilliant football today as a full-back. However, there is still much to accomplish,” Minasyan said.

He further noted former captain Sargis Hovsepyan’s plan to meet with Moscow-based Armenian forward Mikhail Markosov.

“We will be happy to have him in our team,” Minasyan said.
