According to Aravot daily, a political expert Yervand Bozoyan predicted that Armenan National Assembly (ANC) opposition bloc won't be nominating a presidential candidate instead of opting to unite around a specific program.

Commenting on the report above, ANC member Vahagn Khachatryan noted, “we had no such discussions, preferring to focus on finding a way out of he crisis the country is in, rather than a specific person.”

“However, should ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian join the presidential race, a true storm is to be expected on Armenia’s political arena, which is the reason behind Republicans' work to prevent Ter-Petrossian's nomination,” Khachatryan said.
