A new album containing previously unreleased songs of the late rock music icon Jimi Hendrix will be released next year, according to gantdaily.com.

The songs in the album, titled ‘People, Hell and Angels,’ were recorded in 1968 and 1969, and suggests new, experimental directions.

Known for his legendary guitar prowess, Hendrix plays with other instruments such as horns, keyboards, percussion and a second guitar in this album, which is distinct from the Jimi Hendrix experience.

The album cover, revealed by Rolling Stone on Wednesday, a black-anc-white photo of Hendrix looking straights into the camera’s lens.

‘People, Hell and Angels,’ composed of 12 tracks, will be released on March 12.
