The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, Ambassador Philippe Lefort will visit Yerevan, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

As Tigran Balayan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the visit has been scheduled for late November.

Lefort will hold meetings with Armenia’s high-ranking officials.

As Azerbaijani media outlets reported earlier, Ambassador Lefort will arrive in Baku Nov 27, with meetings with Azerbaijani officials scheduled for Nov 28.

Development of Azerbaijani-EU ties as well as Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement will be in the focus of the EU official’s visit.
