French journalist gets finger wag over question to Armenian President?

On November 14, in the framework of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to Lyon a diplomatic incident occurred during an interview with the journalist of France 3 Rhône-Alpes television Olivier Michel, Paris-based independent journalist Jean Eckian told PanARMENIAN.Net.

As on-line French newspaper "La Tribune de Lyon" reported, the Armenian president disliked the journalist’s questions about the corruption in Armenia and official Yerevan’s support to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

“After the interview, I was called out by the Armenian translator, and one of the ministers [accompanying the president] threatened me with the finger ", said the journalist.
