Armenian government is in talks with a number of leading international companies over management of private pension funds, deputy minister of finance said.

As Vardan Aramyan told a press conference, Global Asset Management has already showed interest in Armenian capital market.

He voiced confidence for the first private pension funds to be established in Armenia in 2013, with Capital Asset Management investment company having voiced readiness to contribute to it.

Armenia will shift to mandatory funded pension system starting 2014.
