The opposition candidate for the Armenian president, who has reached the second round of the elections, leader of People party of Armenia Stepan Demirchian has agreed to participate in a TV debate with the acting leader of the state Robert Kocharian standing for the second term. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, S.Demirchian said in an interview to NTV Russian company. In his words, he does not see any problems in measuring with Robert Kocharian. "Certainly, I am ready if the other candidate wishes to speed up his defeat," - he said. Let us note that at the suggestion of the Public Television Company of Armenia the presidential contenders have to present their stands on Armenian foreign policy and the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, as well as the domestic situation in the country, social and economic problems.
