An Azerbaijani civilian interned in Yerevan, Armenia returned to Azerbaijan on Friday, November 30 under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross, ICRC reported.

As Azerbaijani media reported earlier, citing Interior Ministry deputy spokesman, Telman Javashiroglu Aliyev was a deaf and dumb cattleman. Meanwhile, PanARMENIAN.Net reporter on the ground said that the “deaf and dumb” herdsman was engaged in rather a long conversation with ICRC representatives.

“Aliyev is not deaf and dumb, that’s evident. I can’t name any reasons behind such reports. Our experts said, he used gestures due to certain speech problems,” Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said, after the transfer of the Azerbaijani citizen.

It’s noteworthy that Telman Javashiroglu Aliyev further proved to be related to an Azerbaijani MP.

Aliyev, born in 1972, infiltrated Armenia’s Tavush province on November 12. Later Baku dubbed him a deaf and dumb herdsman, who went missing in the Azerbaijani-Armenian border when grazing the cattle.
