Ruling parties of Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan to cooperate?

A forum titled “Eurasian integration in the 21st century” kicked off December 3 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, with a protocol on cooperation singed between representatives from United Russia, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Kazakhstan’s Nur Otan and New Azerbaijan Party political parties.

The discussion of the document will be held in the countries having joined the agreement, with the decision to be approved by party leaders. The protocol is expected to be discussed in early 2013.

The Eurasian Union (EAU) is a proposed economic and political union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and other Eurasian countries, in particular the post-Soviet states.
