According to Zhoghovurd daily, Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc leadership, including Gagik Jangiryan, Levon Zurabyan and Aram Manukyan, have been regularly meeting members of ANC regional structures, urging to up activity during presidential race.

“ANC officials state that Prosperous Armenia party head Gagik Tsarukyan met ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian, with Prosperous Armenia agreeing to back ANC,” the daily said.

As the paper further noted, Mr. Jangiryan failed to comment on the report, while Mr. Manukyan denied the information above.
