Leader of the Christian Social Union (CSU) of German Bundestag Michael Gloss called to start new discussions over talks on Turkey's accession to the EU. According to Turkish NTV, Gloss also told journalists that the decision made by the EU on 17 December over starting the EU-Turkey talks over Ankara accession October 3 should be canceled, the Yerkir newspaper reported.
