RPA rep.: opposition can't nominate separate presidential candidates

A member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is skeptical over the opposition's ability to separately nominate viable presidential candidates.

As Artak Davtyan told a December 7 news conference, he believes the opposition to share his views. “The opposition is attempting to find allies, which explains its intensified activity, communication and consultations.”

As the politician noted, out of other political forces, Heritage was the only one to nominate a candidate. “The opposition seeks to secure enough allies to boost its chances,” he concluded.
