The International Boxing Association (AIBA) President stressed the importance of Azerbaijan’s participation in Yerevan-hosted World Youth Boxing Championships, as symbolic of sport’s goal to promote peace and solidarity worldwide.

As Dr. Wu Ching-kuo told a December 7 news conference in Yerevan, “I spoke to a member of the Azeri delegation who voiced satisfaction over his team's participation in the Championships and high level of security provided in Armenian capital.”

“On behalf of Azerbaijan, I thank Armenia for a wonderful reception,” Dr. Wu Ching-kuo said.
