1st look of Pedro Almodóvar's "I'm So Excited" comedy revealed

Pedro Almodóvar's latest comedy, "I'm So Excited," makes light out of a very serious situation -- dying during an airplane flight, TheWrap said.

It's a terrifying prospect, yet the first teaser for the Sony Pictures Classics release is as silly as can be.

The first look at the colorful and offbeat film from the director of "The Skin I Live In" and "Volver" features three male flight attendants (Javier Cámara, Raúl Arévalo, Carlos Areces) dancing to the 1982 pop song, "I'm So Excited." The passengers, however, don't appear to share the same emotion.

That could be because something really bad is about to happen to them, although it's unclear what since no official plot synopsis has been unveiled.

The only clue comes from the description under the YouTube video, which reads: "A mixed bag of passengers and crew who face a life-threatening situation on board a plane flying to Mexico City."

Penelope Cruz, Antonio Banderas and Paz Vega are nowhere to be seen, but do appear in the film hitting theaters this summer.
