Armenian law on “tax turnover” will enter into force starting Jan 1, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

Though the ruling authorities claim the law will ease the tax burden for small businesses, in fact just the opposite will happen.

It will cause tax hike for the target group, with the state budget to get no replenishment, however. The bill will be approved on second reading at a special parliamentary meeting, the paper says.
