Police uncover Turkish and Greek Cypriot counterfeit gang

Police have uncovered a counterfeit money printing gang consisting of Turkish and Greek Cypriots, who had $24 million of fake dollars in possession, Hurriyet Daily News reports.

During an operation, police seized 352 fake $100 bills from the vehicle of a Turkish Cypriot named Turan Kurşi.

Following Kurşi’s testimony, the police also arrested two Greeks, Tasoula Kosta and Lois Loizou.
