Expert: parliamentary polls reshaped Armenia’s political landscape

2012 parliamentary elections reshaped Armenia’s political landscape, Caucasus Institute director said.

“For the first time in the history of independent Armenia, all major political forces are represented in the National Assembly,” Alexander Iskandaryan said, noting media and parliament as the two platforms remarkable for active political events ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Dwelling on the presidential polls, the expert noted the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) candidate, President Serzh Sargsyan as the sole leader.
