2013 Yerevan budget exceeds 2012 index by 3.17%

Yerevan city council unanimously approved 2013 development program, focusing on social and economic situation, as well as special planning.

The council also approved Yerevan city’s 2013 budget, with the total amount of revenues planned amounting to AMD 65,665,941.7 to exceed that of 2012 by 3.17%. The planned deficit is set at AMD 400,000.0. The city council, as well as the parliamentary group members of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and Prosperous Armenia highly assessed the draft budget, hailing the areas targeting the social and cultural life.

Upon competition of the meting, Yerevan city council resolved to grant privilege to the members of the Union of Armenia’s Artists with respect to the right to property, press service of Yerevan Municipality reported.
