Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has launched a joint election campaign with his ex-Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman.

Netanyahu had announced in October that at January elections his Conservative Party "Likud" would join forces with Lieberman’s ultranationalist Israeli Beiteinu party ("Israel Our Home").

The Prime Minister’s election campaign will be focused mainly on the Iranian issue.

Netanyahu has repeatedly declared that stopping Tehran's nuclear program should be a priority for Israel's foreign policy, foreign media reported.
