Paper says emigration “best-implemented program” of 2012

Despite the current social and economic situation in Armenia, high poverty and unemployment rate, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan hailed the results recorded in 2012 as successful both in politics and economy, Hraparak daily says.

“Though it’s been a difficult year, through joint efforts we managed to fulfill all of the goals set,” Prime Minister Sargsyan said, voicing hope for 2013 to yield more progress.

It stands to reason that the struggle against Prosperous Armenia was one of the toughest challenges for Prime Minister Sargsyan, with the large emigration flows being the “best-implemented program of 2012”, the paper says.
