Famed Armenian weightlifter, Olympic champion Yuri Vardanyan is rumored to be appointed as Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs following the presidential elections in Armenia.

Armenia’s National Olympic Committee secretary general and Basketball Federation President Hrachya Rostomyan is the current Sport and Youth Affairs Minister.
