The spokesman of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanov commented on Heritage party leader, presidential candidate Raffi Hovannissian's remarks at Dec 18 press conference.

“The election campaign launches on January 21. RPA candidate and his supporters will visit all of the provinces and will raise awareness on “Towards secure Armenia” program ideology. Our candidate’s participation in press conferences, discussions and debates has not been discussed yet,” the statement reads.

Dwelling on Heritage leader’s statement slamming the law enforcement official’s company during organizational meetings, Mr Sharmazanov deemed Mr Hovannissian's remarks as nonsense.
