Porsche Design Studio-made world's largest television unveiled

The world's largest television has been unveiled.

According to Digital Spy, the C SEED 201 has a 16ft-wide screen and is priced at £414,000 - four times more than a Porsche 911 car.

The TV is so big that it has to be kept outside.

It is made in Austria by Porsche Design Studio who are hoping to sell 25 sets per year.

When switched off the television is hidden away but with the click of a button seven panels unfold from the ground, unveiling the 201-inch widescreen.

The screen is made from 725,000 LEDs which display 4.4 trillion colours and use biometric fingerprint sensors to stop just unauthorised people from using it.

Alexander Swatek, from C SEED owner Global Bright Group, had the idea when he was thinking about the popularity of public screenings.

He said: "C SEED is a new brand that came about by pooling years of professional experience. It has a unique heritage because it draws on the best minds in their fields."
