Pinterest revamps app for iPhone, iPad devices

Pinterest has revamped its native app for iPhone and iPad devices, adding a raft of improvements, Digital Spy said.

The photo-sharing services has enhanced scrolling and pin management and made it easier for users to delete comments.

"We've made a few tweaks behind the scenes so scrolling is smoother when you're going through pins," reads a statement from Pinterest. "We also added some features to make it easier to manage your pins."

Version 2.2 of the application features swifter navigation and enables subscribers to update pin descriptions, alter board locations and delete pins on the fly.

Pinterest - the fastest website ever to reach 10m monthly unique users - secured more than $100m in funding for global expansion in May last and opened up membership to all users in August.

The company began an overhaul of its web-based service last week.
