As a result of the procurement activity for 1st half of 2013, Armenian healthcare ministry purchased AMD 652 mln worth anti-diabetic medication, AMD 278 mln worth drugs for chronic kidney disease treatment, AMD 154 mln worth psychiatric medicines, AMD 59 mln worth anticancer drugs, and AMD 44 mln worth medication for treatment of other diseases.

AMD 283.950.930 was saved in the procurement of medicines for 2013 1st half, AMD 1.403.798.860 saved as compared with 2013 market prices, the ministry’s press service reported.
