Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) chairman Terry Guo, at a company event on Feb 18, said the company will focus on expanding its investments in Taiwan including New Taipei City, Taichung and Kaohsiung and also focus on nurturing talent in Taiwan during 2013.

According to DigiTimes, Guo also commented on the Casino District of Matsu, Taiwan and pointed out that the Taiwan government should learn the experience from Las Vegas, the US and focus on pushing the surrounding business opportunities instead of solely gambling business.

Foxconn is also in negotiations with the mayor of New Taipei City and will reconstruct its facilities in the city in the future.
