ICES observer mission hails course of elections

International expert Center for Electoral Systems (ICES) is currently deciding on the observers to monitor the calculation of the votes, head of the mission said.

“Positive changes have been reported following 2012 parliamentary vote, with the introduction of magnifying glasses for visually impaired people among them. Though it was very cold in some of the polling stations, the atmosphere was calmer than in 2008, with only authorized representatives of Serzh Sargsyan and Raffi Hovannisian attending the polling stations,” Alexander Tsinker told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

ICES observers will summarize the mission results at Feb 19 press conference.
