Serzh Sargsyan wins second term as president of Armenia

The Central Election Commission has finalized the counting of votes from all of 1988 polling stations.

According to the preliminary data, incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan has won a second term.

The votes divided as follows: current leader, the chairman of the ruling RPA, incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan garnered 861 160 (58,64 %) votes; Heritage party chairman Raffi Hovannisian got 539 672 (36,75% %) votes; former foreign minister of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arman Melikyan received 3 516 (0,24%) votes; former prime minister Hrant Bagratyan - 31 643 (2,15%) votes; National Self-Determination Union party head Paruyr Hayrikyan - 18 093 (1,23%) votes; Radio Hay director Andrias Ghukasyan 8 328 (0,57%) votes; literature expert Vardan Sedrakyan – 6 203 (0,42%) votes.
