"Twilight Saga" star Kristen Stewart added to Oscar presenters list

Another Hollywood big name has been added to the list of presenters for the 85th annual Academy Awards. Just a few days before the highly-anticipated event takes place, the AMPAS confirms that Kristen Stewart is set to present an award during the Sunday, February 24 film awards event, AceShowbiz said.

The "Twilight Saga" beauty is set to join newly-announced presenters Jane Fonda, Jennifer Garner and Kerry Washington. Though she's never been nominated for an Oscar, Kristen's film "Snow White and the Huntsman" is up for Best Visual Effects and Costume Design awards at this year's Academy Awards.

Apart from Kristen, Jane, Jennifer and Kerry, the AMPAS has tapped a handful of A-listers to present the golden statuettes this Sunday. They are Jennifer Aniston, Michael Douglas, Jamie Foxx, Paul Rudd, Salma Hayek, Melissa McCarthy, Liam Neeson, John Travolta, Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.

Reese Witherspoon, Mark Wahlberg, the titular bear in "Ted", "The Avengers" cast members, as well as 2011 Oscar winners Jean Dujardin, Octavia Spencer and Meryl Streep are all also set to serve as presenters.

To be hosted by Seth MacFarlane, the 2013 Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood & Highland Center. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 225 countries worldwide.

Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have hinted that this year's Oscars will feature tons of surprising performances. "There are going to be some big surprises that no one will see coming," Zadan gushed. "Those are going to be left for when you see the show."

The confirmed performers for the night are Adele, Shirley Bassey, Norah Jones, Barbra Streisand, the cast of "Les Miserables" as well as Catherine Zeta-Jones and Jennifer Hudson. Host MacFarlane and Kristin Chenoweth will additionally deliver a special closing show after the Best Picture trophy is handed out to its winner.
