Alexander Ferguson named world’s best coach

International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) has released a list of the best coaches of the world for the past 16 years.

The Scot Sir Alexander Ferguson leads this world ranking with large lead ahead of the Frenchman Arsène Wenger. All of the "Top 10" are still active as a coach. Up to 2010 only the Spaniard Vicente del Bosque is new among the "Top 10" and within this "Top 10" the Italian Fabio Capello improved.

Among the "Top 25 the German Joachim Löw improved and Spaniard Josep Guardiola made the largest improvements in the last two years. But over the next three years - Sir "Alex" Ferguson (Manchester United FC) will continue to lead this world ranking, IFFHS official website reported.
