Hovannisian's voluntary military service offer was rejected

Former presidential candidate, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian said he is glad his youngest son received Armenian citizenship.

Asked why his other sons aren’t Armenian citizens and didn’t serve in the army, Hovannisian said his family “spent all life in service.”

He confessed to having applied for joining the army after he received Armenian passport, with the application rejected over his age.

The ex-candidate further headed to Myasnikyan square to honor the memory of March 1 victims.
