Samsung working on Galaxy Tab 3 Plus – report

Samsung is reportedly working on a new high-end tablet dubbed the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus, Digital Spy said.

The 10-inch Android slate is expected to boast a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, similar to the Korean manufacturer's Google Nexus 10, a Bluetooth SIG filing suggests.

Android Authority cites information from a benchmark test as evidence that the device will be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and come with 4G connectivity.

Samsung was expected to unveil a new line of Galaxy Tabs at the Mobile World Congress last month, but only the Galaxy Note 8.0 was revealed at the Barcelona trade show.

The company is widely expected to announce its flagship Galaxy S4 Android smartphone at a press conference on March 14.

Pricing and a release date for the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus are yet to be announced.
