Indian Vice President Visited Genocide Museum and Planted Fir on Memory Alley
October 7 the Indian delegation headed by Vice President Thiru Bhairon Singh Shekhawat laid a wreath to the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. The Indian Vice President also visited the Genocide Museum and planted a fir on the Memory Alley. To note, within the framework of the two-day visit the Indian Vice President met with Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan, Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian and Minister of Agriculture David Lokyan. A number of documents targeted at the development of bilateral cooperation will be as well signed. Besides, the Indian Vice President is scheduled to meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, the teaching staff and students of the Yerevan Medical University. On October 8 the delegation will depart from Yerevan, IA Regnum reported.
