Renowned Armenian writer, poet and humorist Aramais Sahakyan died on March 14 at the age of 77.

PanARMENIAN.Net learned the news from Yerevan’s Kanaker-Zeytun medical center, where Sahakyan spent the past several days.

Aramais Sahakyan was the editor-in-chief of satirical "Vozni" (Hedgehog) newspaper, author of “Tsitsaghi tun" (House of Laughter) TV-program. His works were translated into more than 30 languages.
