Baghdassaryan: Business should not Imply War in Armenia
«Armenian economy moves forward with confidence. The economic growth allows us to solve problems,» stated Armenian NA Speaker Artur Baghdassaryan at Common Future regional conference organized by the American Trade Chamber of Armenia in Yerevan today. In his opinion, the conference will leave its trace in Armenia. «Foreign investment is very important for Armenia today, especially in economy,» the Speaker remarked. In his opinion, by practical programs conference participants will promote economic development. «Yerevan develops, however we should not form two Armenias. Thus it is very important for economic investments to gradually move to Armenian regions,» Artur Baghdassaryan stated. Besides, the Speaker stated «Business in Armenia should not imply war» and the Government should be a partner of a businessman. In his words, many people state the judicial and legal system of Armenia prevents economic development of the country. In this respect he indicated the importance of reform of the judicial and legal system of Armenia, as well as struggle against corruption. He also pointed to the need to form a respective field for «healthy» trade. «The common regional market is more attractive for foreign investors than that of each country individually. Our future is important to us,» he remarked.
